Clarkson, Kentucky – Maxwell Lewis Gibson, aged 81, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at his home in Clarkson.
Born on February 10, 1943, in Clarkson to the late Lowell and Cova Spencer Gibson, Maxwell lived a life defined by dedication and resilience.
He worked as a self-employed construction worker and was known for his strong work ethic, even pursuing farming as a hobby.
Maxwell was cherished by his family, who are now mourning the loss of a great man.
Emily Dennison Gibson shared her sorrow on Facebook, writing, "The family lost a great man last night; Lee and the kiddos lost their Papaw. He was tough as nails until the end. You will be missed Maxwell!!"
Other friends and acquaintances have also expressed their condolences, with Shawnna Preston posting, "I’m sorry," and Kim Garrett adding, "Sorry for yalls loss."
