Wexford, Ireland – Michael Murphy, former owner and Managing Director of Wexford Viking Glass, passed away on the morning of September 26, 2024.
The news of his passing was shared by the company, paying tribute to his lasting impact on both the business and the local community.
Michael, who was surrounded by his family, is remembered for his visionary leadership, which helped Wexford Viking Glass become renowned for its craftsmanship and innovation.
Under his guidance, the company thrived and became a symbol of pride for the region.
In addition to his professional achievements, Michael was known as a loving family man.
He is survived by his wife, Beth, and their three children: Gina, Paul, and Simon.
He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, his mother Joan, his brother Eamonn, and his sister Trish.
