Wichita, Kansas – Michele A. Trupia Hussnatter, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, at the age of 68.
Born on December 10, 1955, in Patchogue, New York, Michele was known for her kindness, dedication to family, and passion for music and travel.
Throughout her life, Michele worked as a respected employee at the IRS, where she was deeply valued by colleagues and admired for her professionalism.
Beyond her career, she dedicated herself to being a devoted mother and found joy in sharing her love for music, particularly Journey and Tom Jones, with her family.
Her family fondly recalls her adventurous spirit, with favorite memories of family vacations to Colorado and Texas, as well as regular visits to her roots in New York.
Michele is survived by her husband of 36 years, Salvatore J. Trupia, her children, Kimberly D. Trupia and Anthony J. Trupia, and her siblings, Cecil Rybarczyk and Charles Hussnatter.
Her legacy lives on through her loved ones, who remember her warmth and love for animals, including her four cherished dogs.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, with a viewing on October 31 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Michele’s life and are encouraged to contribute to her memorial fund in her honor.
