Caledonia, Minnesota – Nester Ilot Chiglo, a cherished member of the Caledonia community, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, at Claddagh Senior Living.
Born on July 20, 1932, to Peter Sr. and Myrtle Sveen Chiglo, Nester lived a life rooted in faith and community.
He was baptized and confirmed at Whalan Lutheran Church and attended Whalan public schools in Minnesota, marking the beginning of a long and fulfilling journey.
The announcement of his passing has brought deep sorrow to those who knew him, with friends and family expressing their grief and condolences on social media.
