Pojoaque, New Mexico – Nick Manzanares, a senior basketball player at Pojoaque Valley High School, tragically passed away in a car accident on September 22, 2024.

Ryan Cordova, an assistant principal and head coach at Pojoaque Valley High School, remembered Nick as “not only a committed student but also a dedicated basketball player.”
A fundraiser organized by Julie Baros aims to support Nick’s family during this difficult time.
“We are heartbroken to share that Nick was taken from us too soon,” the fundraiser post stated.
