Surgoinsville, Tennessee – The community of Surgoinsville is mourning the tragic loss of Officer Adam Bledsoe, a dedicated School Resource Officer (SRO) at Surgoinsville Elementary School, who passed away on October 11, 2024.
Officer Bledsoe was highly respected for his unwavering commitment to serving both the school and the community.
Throughout his career, Officer Bledsoe exemplified the values of law enforcement, particularly integrity, bravery, and compassion.
He was known not only as a protector but also as a mentor to younger officers and a source of inspiration to many.
His dedication extended beyond his official duties, as he frequently volunteered for community events and initiatives, further strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the local community.
A colleague, Trish Housewright, expressed her grief on social media, stating, "He was a good officer, and a tremendous SRO.
