Olivet, MI – The community of Olivet is in mourning following the tragic passing of Alyssa Fuentes, a dedicated medical first responder with the Olivet Fire Department. Alyssa, who was just 24 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2024, leaving family, friends, and colleagues devastated.
Alyssa, affectionately known as "Sissa," was known for her compassion, courage, and her love for the outdoors. Growing up in Olivet, she developed a deep passion for hiking, camping, and various sports, spending much of her free time exploring the outdoors. Her vibrant personality and infectious laughter touched the lives of many, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand.
As the community processes this immense loss, heartfelt tributes have been pouring in on social media, honoring Alyssa’s life and the impact she had on those around her. A memorial service is being planned to honor her legacy.
