Purlear, North Carolina – Orin Thomas Harless, a well-known diesel mechanic, tragically passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 30.
Orin, born on January 17, 1994, to parents Thomas Garfield Harless and Tomme Ann Harless, was a skilled worker at the Logger Shop, where he specialized in diesel mechanics.
He was also a dedicated member of the Baptist Home Baptist Church, where he found community and faith.
Those who knew Orin describe him as a man with a deep love for his work and for those around him.
Condolences poured in on social media as friends and family mourned his untimely death.
Candy Clement expressed her sorrow, writing, “Prayers and condolences to the family and friends,” while Gary Brewer added, “I’m so sorry, prayers and condolences for family and friends and Maggie.”
