Patricia Bray Trausneck, 73, of Waxhaw, NC, Passes Away Surrounded by Family

Waxhaw, North Carolina – Patricia Bray Trausneck, a 73-year-old registered nurse and beloved wife of William McLean “Mac” Trausneck, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on May 24, 1951, in South Boston, Virginia, to Wayland and Jeanette Keesee.

Patricia was known for her kind heart, warmth, and devotion to her family and friends. A dedicated nurse and loving mother, she spent her life helping others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and support, a testament to her compassionate and joyful spirit.

In addition to her husband, William, Patricia is survived by her children Carrie Hartman and husband Bryan, Elizabeth Mason and husband Troy, Ty, and David Trausneck and fiancée Amanda Martin. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Emma and Haley, and her brothers Michael Keesee, Anthony Keesee, Douglas Keesee, Stuart Keesee, and Robert Keesee.

Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed hobbies such as shopping, reading, cooking, baking, and sewing. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, September 25, from 5–7 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, located at 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 11 AM at Waxhaw Cemetery on Arbour Drive. Patricia adored flowers, and Gordon Funeral Service will be handling floral arrangements.
