Patricia M. Hawkins, aged 42, of Addy Drive, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice in Providence. Patricia was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her vibrant spirit that touched everyone she encountered. She is survived by her husband, William Hawkins, her parents, Joseph J. and Maria Conceicao (Teixeira) Martins, and her beloved children, Bianca Ribeiro, Kianna Ribeiro, Payton Hawkins, and Brayden Hawkins.
Born and raised in Providence, Patricia graduated from Mt. Hope High School in 2000 and later earned an Associate’s degree in accounting from the Community College of Rhode Island. Her family describes her as a loving mother of five, deeply involved in her children’s lives and a source of inspiration to those around her. Patricia’s strength, positivity, and determination were evident throughout her life.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, at George C. Lima Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, September 22, from 3 to 6 PM.
Condolences poured in on social media, with many expressing their sorrow and sharing fond memories of Patricia. “Sending love and prayers to Patricia’s parents, husband, children, and siblings.
