The memory of Paul Ray, who tragically passed away earlier this year, is being honored by his family through a charity drive supporting men’s health initiatives. His brother, John Ray, announced on Facebook that he will be joining thousands of classic car enthusiasts in a 200-mile drive to Goodwood in a 1953 Jaguar XK120 on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
John Ray expressed his deep loss in the post, stating, “In memory of my brother Paul, who sadly passed away this year, I will double every £1 donated.” The funds raised will go toward the Movember charity, which focuses on mental health and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer research.
Messages of support and condolences have poured in on social media. Alison Barron commented, “Gorgeous photo of happy times. Hope the weather is good for your drive. Great cause.” Lisa Clutton also shared, “What a lovely memory.”
Paul Ray’s passing has clearly touched the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy continues through the support for the causes he cared about.
