Camden, New Jersey – Paulette Lee, a 76-year-old Camden resident, tragically passed away following a car accident in Woodlynne, Camden County, on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Ferry and Parker Avenues, where Lee was struck by a vehicle.
Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after the accident.
The driver involved in the accident remained on the scene and has not been charged, though authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Born in Philadelphia, Paulette Lee had a long career working on the dietary team at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden before retiring.
She is survived by her nine children, their spouses, three sisters, numerous grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
