Tyngsborough, Massachusetts – Ralph T. Richardson, a devoted father, husband, and well-known businessman, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 60.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, family dedication, and community involvement that has touched the hearts of many.
Born on January 6, 1964, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Ralph was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Richardson.
A graduate of Lowell High School’s Class of 1982, he went on to build a successful career, beginning at Raytheon, where he had the opportunity to live in England before returning to Massachusetts.
In 2005, Ralph founded Freedom Carpet Cleaning and later expanded his entrepreneurial ventures by acquiring Diamond Wood Floors in 2022.
Known for his humor and as the "king of dad jokes," Ralph’s warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was also an avid sports lover, coaching youth football and lacrosse in Tyngsborough, where he lived since 1997.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jody Richardson, his daughter Jackie Richardson, and his son Ryan Richardson.
Mike Brown shared his condolences on Facebook, saying, "Rest easy my friend," while Tara Cullen added, "So sorry for your loss pal."
Ralph’s funeral will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell, with burial to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
