Ripon, Wisconsin – Randal L. Block, a beloved resident of Ripon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the age of 83.
He was at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, on July 17, 1941, Randy lived a full and cherished life.
After graduating from Wittenberg High School, he earned a degree from Wausau Technical Institute and began his career at Green Giant in the container division.
Later, Randy found his passion in carpentry and served as a construction manager at Modern Pole Builders until his retirement in 2003.
Randy was a devoted member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, where he served as a longtime trustee.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the family cottage near Stevens Point.
He was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan, and he treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Jeneene Block, and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Friends and loved ones, including Nicole DeBoer, remembered him fondly, stating, "Such a sweet man, he will most definitely be missed by many."
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, followed by interment at Forest Home Cemetery in Wittenberg.
