Cullman, Alabama – Richard Guy McClintock, Jr., a well-respected member of the Cullman community, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the age of 41.
His passing occurred at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham after a brief illness.
Mr. McClintock, born on June 27, 1983, was known for his dedication to his family, friends, and colleagues.
A funeral service for Mr. McClintock will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Desperation Church in Cullman, with burial following at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will take place the same day from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley McClintock, and their son, Jalyn McClintock, as well as numerous other family members.
Mr. McClintock was described as someone who always brought positivity to those around him.
Friend and coworker Logan Sellers commented, “One of the greatest men I met… always a smile on his face.”
Others, like Donna McCurley, shared, “Prayers for his family and friends.”
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Jalyn McClintock’s college fund at Premier Bank.
