St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana – Richard Nash, a 63-year-old resident of Bush, Louisiana, tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident on Louisiana Highway 41 near Dolph Gaines Road.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. when Nash, riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado that veered left into his path.
Despite wearing a DOT-certified helmet, Nash suffered severe injuries upon impact and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the Silverado’s driver was not injured, and routine toxicology samples were taken as part of the investigation, though impairment is not suspected.
Condolences have poured in on social media, with David Nash posting, “RIP bro!” Rodney Brown expressed his sorrow, stating, “I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you buddy.”
Cameron Cox and Scott Wells also sent their prayers and support to the grieving family.
Richard Patterson and Alfred Green left similar messages of condolence.
