Malvern, UK – It is with deep sadness that the community mourns the loss of Roger Dance, a longtime member of the Police & Support Association (P&SA), who passed away on October 16, 2024.
Roger, who was diagnosed with dementia several years ago, remained a dedicated supporter of the unit until it was no longer safe for him to continue.
Roger was a beloved figure within the P&SA, contributing significantly to its fundraising efforts over the years.
His sense of humor and infectious positivity brought joy to everyone around him, and his dedication was admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kimberley Westerman, a close associate, shared her sorrow on social media, writing, "He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was one of a kind and had a heart of gold."
Another friend, Susan Halford, added, "Lovely man will miss him, love Charles and Sue."
Roger Dance’s passing marks the end of an era for the Malvern Sea Cadets and the wider community.
His contributions and legacy will be fondly remembered, and his family remains in the thoughts and prayers of all those who knew him.
