Lyons, New York – Roger Silcox, 59, tragically lost his life on Saturday afternoon, October 5, 2024, following a motorcycle accident on Layton Street Road in Lyons.
According to the New York State Police, Silcox was riding southbound when he drifted off the road and collided with a tree at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Despite being rushed to Newark Wayne Community Hospital, Silcox succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The police have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and an investigation is ongoing.
