Sadie Neddo, Talented Prosper High School Student, Passes Away at 16 After a Seizure

Prosper, Texas – The community is mourning the sudden passing of Sadie Neddo, a 16-year-old student at Prosper High School, who tragically passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Her family believes that the cause of death was a seizure related to her epilepsy, despite her having been seizure-free for several years while on medication.

Sadie had spent the weekend surrounded by her family, and her unexpected loss has left friends, family, and the community in shock.

Sadie was known for her incredible talent as a dancer with the Talonettes drill team, where she left a lasting impression.

The Prosper community is planning to honor her memory by wearing pink and purple at the upcoming game on Friday.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 5 p.m. at 522 N Teel Parkway in Prosper, Texas.

Friends and family took to social media to express their grief and condolences.

Scott Pritchard reflected, “The world lost a great young lady this week… She was one talented dancer for the Talonettes drill team.”

Jennifer Woodruff Johnston shared, “Sadie was one of the good ones… We love her.”

The Prosper community continues to rally around the Neddo family during this heartbreaking time, offering prayers and support.
