Fleetwood, Pennsylvania – Sarel Evelyn Rentschler, a cherished dance teacher and devoted mother, passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 35, following a brief illness.
Her sudden passing has left family, friends, and students mourning the loss of a vibrant and compassionate individual.
Sarel, born on April 18, 1989, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, grew up in Fleetwood and developed a passion for dance and theater early in life.
She graduated from Fleetwood High School in 2007 and spent over a decade teaching tap and musical theater at Limelight Dance Studio in Wyomissing.
Her infectious smile and love for her students left a lasting impact on those around her.
Sarel was a beloved wife to her husband, Kenneth H. Rentschler, Jr., with whom she celebrated eight years of marriage, and a devoted mother to her 3-year-old daughter, Gwendolyn.
Her family and friends remember her as a beacon of light, always spreading joy and kindness to those she encountered.
Heather Martin, a friend from high school, shared her condolences on Facebook, stating, “To know Sarel is to know that she was a light that once it touched you, it never left you.”
Sarel’s legacy will live on through her family, students, and community.
A memorial service will be held on October 19, 2024, at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., in Leesport, Pennsylvania.
