Bakersfield, California – Authorities have identified Saul Glen Gonzalez, 41, as one of the two men who died in a tragic car crash on Cottonwood Road near East Pacheco Road on Tuesday evening, October 8, 2024.
The fatal collision occurred around 5:03 p.m., prompting an immediate emergency response.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, Gonzalez was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident, while the passenger, 42-year-old Julio Alfonso Jr., was declared dead at the scene.
Gonzalez succumbed to his injuries later at Kern Medical.
