Neffs, Ohio – Sissy FüKñ McGuire, a cherished member of the Ohio community, is currently in hospice care at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Her family is preparing for her final arrangements and seeking support for the costs associated with her cremation and memorial services.
According to her daughter, Stormie Pollard, Sissy has not yet passed but is resting comfortably under hospice care.
Stormie, who is traveling from Virginia Beach to Ohio to be with her mother, shared that many expenses are not covered by Medicaid, and the financial burden has fallen on her and her sister.
A fundraiser has been organized to help cover the costs, with $1,160 of the $3,500 goal already raised.
Stormie expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support, asking friends to refrain from visiting at this time but promising a celebration of Sissy’s life once her ashes are spread in her yard in Neffs.
Sissy McGuire is remembered as a friend to everyone and someone who would want to be commemorated with “a beer in hand and a smile on her face.”
Her family plans to hold a large gathering in her honor after her passing.
Donations continue to come in, with many offering condolences and financial assistance during this difficult time.
