Namchi, Sikkim – Surendra Chettri, a respected resident of Tharpu Dara, tragically passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 42.
His death has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and the local community.
Surendra was born on April 19, 1982, and is survived by his grieving father, Shyam Bahadur Chettri, mother, Durga Devi Rai, sister, Swapna Chettri, wife, Rachmi Lepcha, and young son, Arnav Chettri.
On September 28, 2024, family members, friends, and political leaders gathered at his residence to pay their final respects during a solemn prayer service.
Madam Krishna Rai, along with Shree Satish Chandra Rai and other party members, offered their condolences to the bereaved family.
