Newark, Delaware – Terry Milbourne, 37, tragically passed away on Monday, October 17, 2024, following severe injuries from a hit-and-run accident in Ogletown.
Milbourne, a pedestrian from Newark, Delaware, was struck on Friday night while crossing East Chestnut Hill Road by an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene.
After being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, he fought for his life for several days before succumbing to his injuries.
The police are still searching for the driver involved and have not disclosed any further updates regarding the vehicle or the driver’s identity.
A Facebook post from MommieKira Badd, shared days before his passing, urged the community to pray for Terry Milbourne, referring to the situation as a spiritual battle.
She wrote, “Please pray and ask your church to pray for Terry ‘TJ’ Milbourne, Jr.
He’s fighting for his life! Pray without ceasing for a miracle.”
Many other users, including Janise James and Lenore Spence, expressed their condolences, while others prayed for a miracle.
