Willoughby, Ohio – The Wildcats community is mourning the loss of Theresa Guerrieri, a dedicated mother and active supporter of her children and their sports teams.
Theresa passed away on the morning of September 27, 2024, following a brave fight against cancer.
Theresa Guerrieri was the proud mother of Lorenzo, a current 13U Wildcat, and Gio, a former Wildcat.
She was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and the Wildcats organization, where she inspired parents and athletes alike.
Her commitment extended far beyond the sidelines, as she was a symbol of resilience, grace, and generosity throughout her battle.
Many in the community expressed their condolences online.
Jeremy King, reflecting on their long-standing friendship, wrote, “At a loss.. Theresa Guerrieri was one of the first people I met when I moved to Perry.
She made me feel so welcomed and was a great friend throughout middle and high school.”
The Wildcats organization shared a heartfelt tribute, stating, “Theresa’s strength, kindness, and dedication will be deeply missed, but her legacy will always remain a part of our Wildcats family.”
Theresa Guerrieri is survived by her husband, Marco, and her two sons, Lorenzo and Gio.
