Ayden Charles Temple, a 13-year-old boy from Magee, Mississippi, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, following an ATV accident. Born on March 15, 2011, to Bobby Joe Temple and Noel Decuir Acy, Ayden was a beloved son, brother, and friend.
Ayden was known for his adventurous spirit and a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, hunting, fishing, gaming, and playing football. His family and friends remember him as an "all-American kid" with a kind heart, fearlessness, and a deep love for music and his family. He also cherished spending time with his dogs, who were his biggest fans.
He is survived by his father, Bobby Joe Temple; his mother, Noel Decuir Acy; his siblings, Sara Riley, Alix Temple Buckhalter, Haley Temple, Camron Acy, Lauren Acy, and Morgan Acy; and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Robert Joseph Decuir II and Herman Lee Thompson.
The family will hold a visitation at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, Mississippi, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Mendenhall, followed by interment at Mendenhall City Cemetery.
Clay McPherson, a family friend, expressed his sorrow, saying, “This is just awful!! My heart hurts for the family and friends. Praying for you all.” Others, like Wayne Jordan and Pam Smith, shared similar sentiments, offering their prayers for the family during this difficult time.
