Maine – Victoria Parks, a cherished mother, wife, and survivor of child abuse, passed away in September 2024 due to health complications, including blood clots and small cell cancer.
Her passing leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and love.
Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Victoria later moved to Maine, where she lived with her family.
She is survived by her husband Jeramiah, son Kerry, stepson James, and daughter Ember, as well as her extended family in Canada and beyond.
Victoria was deeply devoted to her family, spending cherished moments with them while also balancing her career as a self-published writer and her work at Maine General and the state DHHS child services.
Known for her dark yet mischievous sense of humor, she touched the lives of many with her deep love for her close family and her passion for travel.
In honor of her memory, her husband Jeramiah has organized a fundraiser to support the Joyful Heart Foundation, reflecting Victoria’s commitment to making a difference.
Her life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her family remains in the thoughts and prayers of the community.
