Albuquerque, NM – Vixay Lanonh, a beloved father and a cherished member of his community, passed away on September 28, 2024, after a week-long battle in the ICU due to complications from cirrhosis and severe sepsis.
He was known for his warm and welcoming personality, which made everyone around him feel like family.
Vixay, affectionately called "Net" or "Joy" by those closest to him, leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy.
He was a devoted father to his children, Bryan and Mikayla, and served as a father figure to many others in his community.
His passion for cooking was not only a way to nourish but also to bring people together, and his infectious humor filled his home with laughter.
The community is mourning his loss, with friends and family sharing their condolences.
Mikayla Sophapmysay, who organized a fundraiser to cover funeral and medical expenses, expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support: "We appreciate any help and all the support through this time."
