London, UK – Elliott Eley, an 11-year-old dedicated fan of West Ham United F.C., tragically passed away on September 18, 2024, following a lifelong battle with a rare genetic disease. Diagnosed shortly after birth, the illness affected both his digestive and immune systems and, despite his remarkable bravery, currently has no cure.
Elliott’s love for football, particularly West Ham United, was evident throughout his short life. One of the highlights came when he served as a mascot for West Ham during their season opener against Aston Villa, walking proudly alongside captain Jarrod Bowen. This cherished memory, along with a special visit to the team’s training ground, left a lasting impact on both Elliott and those who met him.
