Bridgeport, Connecticut – Wilfredo Matos, a renowned advocate for social justice and equity, passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 84.
Matos, affectionately known as "Willie," was remembered as a gladiator in the fight for fairness, particularly during the challenging years of the late 1960s and early 1970s in Bridgeport.
