Julie, Fiancée of John Norwood III, Missing After Devastating Floods from Hurricane Helene in Hickory, North Carolina

Julie, the fiancée of John Norwood III, commonly known as Trey, has been reported missing following the catastrophic floods caused by Hurricane Helene. The hurricane severely impacted Hickory, North Carolina, where Trey and Julie resided. Tragically, their house and Trey’s shop, Ole Hickory Forge, were both washed away in the floods, leaving Trey hospitalized in Morganton.

Efforts are currently underway to locate Julie, whose whereabouts remain unknown since the flood. The local community is rallying to support Trey, whose livelihood was also destroyed when his forge was swept away. A fundraiser has been launched by Trey’s uncle, Bob Martin, to aid in medical expenses and provide temporary housing as Trey recovers and works to rebuild his life.
