Los Angeles, California – Megan Shuki, a 30-year-old woman and mother of one, has been reported missing after she was last seen on Monday, September 16, 2024, in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating her as concerns grow over her safety.
Megan was last seen near the intersection of Butler Ave and Wyoming Ave around 2:30 a.m. on the morning of her disappearance. She is described as standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with dyed black hair and blue eyes. She also has a prominent scar down her back from scoliosis surgery. At the time of her disappearance, Megan was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black and gray spandex athletic shorts with a fatigue print, black socks, and pink sandals. Importantly, she did not have her phone or wallet with her.
Her family has expressed deep concern and is appealing to the public for help. In a statement, her cousin Zoe shared, "Today we found out that my cousin, Megan, has been missing since Monday. She was last seen near Wyoming Ave and Butler Ave around 2:30-3 a.m. Please, if you have any information, reach out to us. We are desperate for her safe return."
Several individuals have also taken to Facebook to share their thoughts and spread awareness about Megan’s disappearance. A page called "Finding Megan Shuki" has been created to provide updates and encourage the public to share information.
Avinash Dixit commented, “My cousins posted an update on our Instagram page giving more details. She was in regular contact with her twin sister Maddie until she went missing. We know that she has a wrist injury based on a text she sent to my aunt before disappearing.”
Allison Edwards and Alii Michelle have also shown their support, helping to spread the word and urging the public to share the information with anyone in the Los Angeles area who may have seen Megan.
The Los Angeles Police Department is actively investigating the case and asking anyone with information about Megan’s whereabouts to come forward.
The family remains hopeful that Megan Shuki will be found safe and brought home soon.
